Episode #143 – Kerry Anne’s last show!
Sep 8th, 2009 by Airdrie
This week is Kerry Anne’s last show as co-host of Lip Gloss and Laptops. Her presence will be missed, but we know that she is busy fulfilling her dream to do a Master’s program at University. We wish her the best of luck in the future, and hope that she will drop by the studio and visit us from time-to-time.
This week we review the following:
Yes to Cucumbers- facial hydrating lotion

Sephora brand NAILS nail polish remover Acetone free, contains vitamin E and Macadamia Nut oil. This stuff is FABULOUS!

Revlon Double Twist mascara Clumpy and difficult to use, but the end result is good. Available in “Blackest Black,” my choice. A mixed review.

MAC cosmetics fall offerings, including a High Definition line, dramatic new false lashes, and nail polish colours inspired for fashion week ’09.

Beauty Apps for your iPhone:
1. Lookz (free version is “Lookz Lite”) teaches you how to make trendy eye make-up looks with simple step by step video instructions.
2. Hairstyle Lite — the free version of this cool application gives you six different hairstyles that you can put right onto a picture of your own face. This application was developed by the makers of the website The Hairstyler.com.
Reality Check: 180lb “Plus Size” model poses nude for Glamour Magazine, shows a little tummy, creates some controversy. Talk amongst yourselves. link

Great episode. Thank you Kerry Anne for sharing your favorites list with us. I remember some of these reviews, so it’s a delight to know which products have continued to be successful.
