It is one week after my Botox cosmetic treatment. I received 31 units of botox between my eye brows, and three on either side of my outer brow. As you can see, the furrows in my brow are slightly improved. I am making an “angry face” in both pictures… I look less angry in the “after” photo.
Was this worth $370? I’m not sure yet. I will go back in two weeks for a follow-up. I may need a few extra units to help further ease the tough muscles. Time will tell. I’ll keep you posted.
Did it hurt?
It does look very different. The furrows are nowhere as deep. :)
I like that you can clearly still see emotion and that you don’t look too frozen and waxy. I would consider getting it to curb sweaty armpits…maybe.
It does not hurt, but it feels tender in that area for about 7 days after. Also, it feels “different” up there, but I’m totally not noticing it much now.
Airdrie: you definitely did not need any Botox. You’re supposed to have those furrows when you frown. You look great already.
You look lovely! I would be interested in knowing how long this effect lasts cause it certainly does look awesome. Thanks for posting the pictures and for all the reviews you guys do. You are one of my favorite podcasts!
