i got the biosculpture gel nails but they damaged my nails. they did buff my nails prior to applying the gel and after i got them removed, my nails were so thin. i had to cut down several of my nails because they were damaged.
plus the upkeep was just too expensive for me. the polish wouldn’t chip but it would lift off completely in full sheets. (that’s why they buff your nails– to make it rough so the gel will stick). every 2 – 3 weeks i’d spend $50 because once u do the gels u are committed to the product. if u decide you don’t want them anymore, u can’t remove it yourself and give yourself a manicure. u have to go back to the salon. overall, i would get a manicure for a special occasion or when going on vacation because it does NOT chip at all. but i prefer to do my own manicures and with the right base coat and top coat, my nails don’t chip for 7+ days (orly bonder base coat/seche vite top coat).
