I am having a right breast mastectomy on October 31st. I am looking for an outlet store for a bra (single right breast) for after the surgery is complete and healed. Is there such a thing as a front closing bra for this? I live in Muskoka and I believe that the closest store in in Barrie. I am looking for any information regarding bras for post-mastectomy.

I’ve always been a sun-o-phobe (I burn easily so wear sunlotion all the time and avoid being in it much) but have never really considered self tanner since I thought they all still sucked… I know you’re more freckly than me, but your base is pretty pale… I wonder if it would be worth trying!

I am 55 and have just had my first botox. I haven’t said anyhting to anyone even my husband. But everyone keeps looking at me and saying I look good. It’s so natural. Didn’t like it the first few days as I kept trying to move my forehead and this gave me a headache. Paid 370€ for this in spain. It’s made me look much younger and like you have been through some depressing things lately and it showed on my face. I don’t care what anyone says about Botox – it really does open up the face :)

If you want to try out the worst mani and pedi ever then you should go to She to Shic. They have inexperienced staff that are not friendly at all. The nail polish is bubbly all over the place and ugly. They rush through it and don’t wait for the coats to dry. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The comparison of the old Tampax vs the new Tampax is exactly what I thought was the problem. The intrroduction of the leak guard is not as advertised and the tampon is dimensional shorter. How could this possibly be a good idea? Although I have not felt discomfort with the new Tampax model, the leakage has been ashtonishing and embarasing, Tampax has lost my confidence in their product and I am off to Walmart to give Equate a try, wish me luck.

I went here recently and had a terrible experience.
On their site under services for the deluxe mani/pedi, they do say that an “Orangewood stick and file are yours to TAKE HOME!” However, this is false advertising as neither were offered as I left. I asked about this in an email and their reply was that they are “subject to change and variation without prior notice.” Fair enough, except that I saw my manicurist throw the orangewood stick away right in front of me, and I’m assuming she threw the file away as well since it wasn’t metal and so wouldn’t have been able to be sterilized and re-used for the next customer. I asked in my email why they would prefer to throw something away instead of letting the customer take it away with them, and their reply was “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Seeing as how this is supposedly a “green and eco-friendly” salon, that was an extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory answer.

I first tried it a couple months back when I was on my way to the MAC counter. I saw the bottle and thought it was cute and interesting; I mean, it must’ve been since it did not only catch my eye, but compelled me to walk over to it to check it out. Now, I’m not a fan of SJP’s fragrances, so I was immediately apprehensive about trying it. But after the sales woman told me the notes in it, I just had to. Fragrances that have notes of gardenia in it usually are very flattering on me. So I spritzed some on, and liked it enough to ask for a sample and said I would let it wear. Like you, I wore it all day and let it wear through the night.

I came back a week later to purchase a bottle after my sample was used up, haha. I adore it and plan to use it as my spring/summer fragrance.

I love Make Up For Ever! In my opinion, they’re far superior to a certain other popular cosmetic company whose name also begins with M. Their Full Cover Concealer is my go-to, and their lipglosses are absolutely indelible. They have such creative colours in their line as well. In my experience, you can really trust their products to do exactly what they say they will. Hooray for MUFE!

Holy guacamole, you look super cute! I don’t think short hair suits every woman (I had a pixie cut myself when I was 17/18… NEVER AGAIN!!) but it absolutely suits you. I’ve never tried No Frizz (it gets mixed reviews on Makeup Alley, which scares me off a little bit) but I had similar results when my hairdresser used Moroccan Oil serum after my last haircut. Both products are a little too spendy for me at the moment, but it’s nice to know that effective frizz fighting products are available, finally.

Aw I so wanted the true match roller foundation to be good! I thought it looked pretty cool when I saw it on tv, but I dont think I will waste my money now! :)
