Episode #51 - Our One Year Anniversary

UPDATE: The MP3 file and shownotes for the one-year anniversary show are finally posted, after a one-week delay for Derek's surgery and the Northern Voice conference, plus an extra few hours because he fell asleep before linking up the audio file. Go listen, or subscribe to make sure you get every show as soon (or as late) as it's ready.

This week we celebrate the first anniversary of Lip Gloss and Laptops by discussing some of our "tried and true" favourites and beauty fantasy items. It's an extra-long show to make up for the extra week it took.

"If you see wife along the way, shake wiener at her making the 'woo-woo' sound" -- I had to pause the video to recover from that one. Hi-larious.

Loved the show, I felt your absence last week and intended to shoot you an email of good vibes for Derek, but by the time I went to do it, the show was up. But you were missed!

Congrats on your one year anniversary, and best wishes to Derek in the fight. (I don't know you, but saw you at Ponzi's wedding. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet you because I had a stomach ailment that night.) Talking about "high end" lipstick, my favorite is Chanel. My favorite red is "Barcelona Red"(which has been discontinued, sadly.) and "New York Red". I like Mac's colors, but found their lipstick to be very drying. Even though it is a little spendy, I highly recommend Chanel. (I got it cheaper on Ebay at Strawberry.com)

We really missed you!! That was a great show. I mean, really great. We paused the show many times to write things down. How come no news about Derek? Hope and pray all is well. You know we are thinking of you, brave Airdrie.
We want to send in our favorite products...where should we send it?
