Tonight is a different show. Kerry Anne will be back next week, but this week Airdrie has her hubby (and L&L engineer/editor) Derek in the studio. We talk about lots of things, including our trip to Anaheim last week, and how to make your own personal website (aka. "blog"). Our reality check is about Derek's recent diagnosis of colorectal cancer. We read some letters and talk about lots of stuff. We'll be back with product reviews next week.

enjoyed the show as usual and found this one to be, though different, really good! i thank you both for sharing derek's story and wish him (and all of you) all the best! I am confident your scope will be the early tratment that leads to a cure! Remeber in the (distant) future that your girls, when they grow up, should have colonoscopies PRIOR to 50 because they will have a family history and as you both pointed out, that early detection is key...
i am emboldened to explore godaddy and other sites and see about getting something going for myself out there in (on?) the blog-o-sphere. the info you covered was helpful and answered those questions i nhad that i was afraid to ask!!
re: links - searched to see a booth bunny and yikes- there looked to be an actual booth bi-otch in there - skimpy clo9thes allright, i get it but stripper underwear and lingerie??!! oh well! what bert and ernie were doing there, i don't know!!!!
i go to disneyland tomorrow and will hit the sephora - didn't know there was one there!! and i will be enjoying my squeaky clean showers where the soap all rinses off and you feel clean not all gummed up!
over and out!

Thanks for the podcast. I just found it and am really enjoying it!
Also, best of luck to Derek. I am glad it was found early. I agree that screening is a good idea for everyone!
I wanted to post to note something with using blogger that you eluded to in your podcast. They have a new verison just out of Beta. A person can now use their own domain hosted for free with blogger. It will redirect the blogspot address and the custom domain is what will show in the url bar, so bookmarks to that will work fine. The new version also now has drop and drag for moving items, and categories can be added. That is a great improvement over the old one.
One caveat though: Set up of the custom domain can be tricky and they didn't give acurate instructions for GoDaddy as a registrar. Although, I did find the fix pretty easily on the web. Also, I have run into some issues with DNS propogation on my new blog (a beauty product blog), but I think it is working now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Thanks again and keep up the great podcast!
