Airdrie's Travel Tip:
For beautiful nails on vacation, consider purchasing something like Andrea's Nail Polish Remover Pads ($4.99 CAD for a box of eight single-use pads). These non-acetone remover-soaked pads are tightly packaged in travel-safe pouches, so you don't have to worry about nasty spills on the airplane. The product I use is made in Canada, so if you are in the USA be sure to ask your cosmetician about a similar product. Overpriced, but hey, have you ever seen what a spilled bottle of nail polish can do? I have, and it's not a pretty sight. Plus, they'll let it on the plane!
Kerry Anne’s Reviews
Maybelline New York Expert Eyes Crayon Oriental in African Brown. I finally have found a colour to replace my favourite discontinued eyeliner colour. And it’s crazy cheap! Very blendable, very basic, very nice warm brown. Even though it’s not “long-wearing”, it still lasts throughout the day. I need to stock up on this one, because it seems to be only be available at my local drugstore...or Belgium. ($2.99CA)
L’Oreal Paris Double Extend mascara has a dual wand. One end has a white “primer” and the other end has the "colour magnifier", available in Blackest Black, Black and Black Brown. The white mascara could also be used with your favourite mascara. This product won’t thicken your lashes much, though it lives up to it's lenthening claim.
By the end of the day, it did travel a bit so it’s not completely smudgeproof as they promise, but for a cheap drugstore product, I still recommend it. I found this one on sale (with a lipgloss) for $7.99, but it usually sells for approximately $10.

great show (although another short one - geez, it's like y'all have other things going on in your life!!). enjoyed the reality check, as usual. alot of fuss was made - and rightly so, i think - about ms. simpsons comments, especially given the timing with what she did to herself..
i also heartily (sp??) agree with your great idea for another reality check...the pregnancy thing ties into the whole "40 is the new 30" thing, too. we can't do anything at a true natural way it seems! and it's always the double edged sword of women breaking some kind of "new ground" or being more appreciated in some way (older women are sexy! milfs! (ick) you can have it all - whatever..) BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE GORGEOUS AND THIN!!!!!! sigh...
i stuck on a link to eve ensler's (vagina monologues) current play "the good body" - i've seen the play get press over the past year (did y'all mention this one before?), and i hope the link brings you to a great sttement she has up on her site...
have a great week, welcome back to school and tell podcast pup to keep chillin' like bob dylan..

Airdrie, your daughters comment, mentioned on the show, about the aunt of chucky's made me laugh so hard I was gasping for breath. Since I was plugged into the ipod nobody else knew what I was laughting about.
Hey guys, great show! I have to say that as a girl with dark hair and dark eyelashes, I haaaaate the mascara with a primer because sometimes I put on too much primer or don't cover it well enough with mascara and you can see the white still on my eyelashes! It's horrible. I'd rather not take the risk and so I stick to just plain mascara. I do have to say I love L'Oreal Voluminous. It never lets me down!
