Lip Gloss-a-no-go

I've been reading a lot about carry-on travel restrictions, and I can summarize that currently you are more likely to be able to bring your laptop, but not your lipgloss, on commercial airplane flights. Please check with your local carrier before you get to the airport. It would be a minor tradgedy to have to throw-away your Juicy Tubes and liquid eyeliners at the airport. Travel Smart!

Marnie said...: Yes, they wanted to throw away my lip gloss on my Thursday flight home! They also wanted to throw away a nice bottle of Armani cologne my husband had in his bag. Nope, we checked the bag instead. But, you know, they failed to notice that I had THREE other prohibited makeup items (gels and creams) and toothpaste in one of my bags (I didn't even know they were there). I was sure glad to have that lip balm & toothpaste while I waited for my delayed flight.

And, to make matters worse, when we got on the 2nd plane, there was an unclaimed laptop in the seat next to my husband. They did not even remove it from the plane! If that's not crazy, I don't know what is.; Mon Aug 14, 06:54:00 AM
