About Lip Gloss and Laptops

Lip Gloss and Laptops is the free weekly health, cosmetics, and beauty podcast for the thinking woman. It launched March 1, 2006, and somehow got featured on Adam Curry's pioneering Daily Source Code podcast, the Vancouver Sun newspaper (which listed it #4 in their top 10 podcasts on March 11), and Vancouver's Metro daily newspaper, all in only three weeks. Airdrie and Kerry Anne joined the foursevens podcast network on March 22, 2006.

Techie stuff

New shows, and promos for the following episode, appear each Wednesday. The show is an 80 kbps stereo MP3 file, usually between 15 MB and 32 MB in size. So far shows have run between 22 and 55 minutes. The plan is that they should generally be under an hour. There have been no video or enhanced podcast episodes so far.
